Moving the Needle: Cancer Associated Thrombosis
The International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH) and the International Initiative on Thrombosis and Cancer (ITAC-CME) have developed new educational modules “Moving the Needle: Cancer Associated Thrombosis”. The series includes three distinct modules addressing: Primary Prophylaxis (Module 1), Non-CRT VTE (Module 2), and CRT VTE (Module 3). These modules are also available in French and Spanish.
Join Dominique Farge-Bancel, MD, Jean M. Connors, MD, and James Douketis, MD, FRCPC, FACP, FCCP, FCAHS as they provide education to hematologists and oncologists to support guideline-recommended care of patients with cancer, specifically related to appropriate VTE prophylaxis and patient-centered, individualized VTE treatment.
