TARGET AUDIENCE
This educational activity is intended for pediatric endocrinology team members, including physicians, advanced practice providers (NPs, PAs), and nurses; adult endocrinologists, diabetologists, Certified Diabetes Educators, primary care providers, and others who manage patients with T1D.
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
A series of clinical cases will be explored by expert faculty to address the role in screening for T1D, how to utilize immunotherapies to delay the onset of T1D, and monitoring T1D immunotherapies. The goal is to increase the endocrine team’s knowledge of how immunologic treatment approaches are being applied to T1D; increase their ability to discuss these advances with clinical colleagues, patients, and families/caregivers; and to utilize current therapies to delay the onset of clinical T1D.

METHOD OF PARTICIPATION/HOW TO RECEIVE CREDIT
There are no fees for participating and receiving credit for this activity. Successful completion is achieved by reviewing the CE information, completing the pre-test, completing the activity, and completing the post-test and evaluation form. A score of at least 75% on the posttest is required to successfully complete this activity. The participant may take the test until successfully passed.
Credit fulfillment:
If you are requesting AMA credits, ANCC credits, AAPA credits, or a certificate of participation, your certificate will be available for download. If you are a pharmacist requesting ACPE credits, your credit request will be uploaded to CPE Monitor within 60 days.
