TARGET AUDIENCE
This educational activity is intended for pediatric endocrinology team members, including physicians, advanced practice providers (NPs, PAs), and nurses; adult endocrinologists, diabetologists, Certified Diabetes Educators, primary care providers, and others who manage patients with T1D.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW
A series of clinical cases will be explored by expert faculty to address the role in screening for T1D, how to utilize immunotherapies to delay the onset of T1D, and monitoring T1D immunotherapies. The goal is to increase the endocrine team’s knowledge of how immunologic treatment approaches are being applied to T1D; increase their ability to discuss these advances with clinical colleagues, patients, and families/caregivers; and to utilize current therapies to delay the onset of clinical T1D.

After engaging in the education, learners will show improved abilities to:

• Describe immunotherapeutic approaches to delaying clinical T1D to clinical colleagues
• Advise clinical colleagues on the appropriate identification and screening for T1D in their patients
• Establish a treatment plan for patients to delay the onset of T1D
• Monitor patients undergoing immunotherapy to delay the onset of T1D

Please submit all evaluations and credit requests no later than 30 days after you complete this activity to ensure your credit fulfillment, as CE credit cannot be awarded past 60 days from the activity date.
